I heard about the strix guard. but i cant enter in contact with they website.

AA or Active Anti cheat, is very good, it catches most cheats but doesn't protect against paid Adrenaline, which Smart-guard does. It also gives you some bonuses, such as a login save screen and an option to add your server to the discord menu, like Playing L2 Giran Forge.

Strix Guard is the most affordable option out there, it protects just like AA, there aren't many differences, but its updates are few and far between, but its value is very good.

If it's a 100% retail server with no custom interface, Smart-guard is the best option. If it's a server with a custom interface, then the choice is between Strix and AA.

I use Strix, I already have the discord and auto login DLLs, so if it's just to get rid of free and cheaper boots, I prefer Strix.

As a former Adrenaline user, I can say this with confidence: no matter what kind of in-game protections you add — like secret codes or zone restrictions — bots can bypass them in a second. Adrenaline doesn’t care if you have a special farm zone or timed teleports. It works just like a real player.


If someone knows how to set it up properly or write solid scripts, it becomes almost impossible to detect. I’ll say it again: no admin can fully prevent bots just by using server-side configurations.


Yes, SmartGuard and Active Anti-Cheat offer some decent protection, but they’re not flawless either — they still have holes that bots can exploit.


Let’s be honest: most admins pay a lot of money for these systems, open a server that ends up filled with only NPCs, and eventually stop paying because they realize they’re not going to become millionaires running a Lineage 2 server.

I have not tried on live server but what it does is every 1 hour the password to enter a specific zone changes and it appears on chat like announcement for each zone different one if you fill it correctly you can access zone if not you have to retry after few minutes. Once entered correctly for the next hour you dont need to fill it again but only if you change zone. After an hour for example passed, you need to fill a new different password to enter again. This is based on my server gameplay and group zones are activated on peak times where a decent activity exists and as solo player if botting is not possible to access those zones as anyway you will die. So it is used mainly for solo farm zone and solo open dungeons I have in my server that players teleport to random spots too. Here is a quick preview and it will be interesting to be tested with someone that has adrenaline:

To stay on the topic of services like Active Cheat, Smart Guard, and Strix, I’ve stopped paying for them because I had the Adrenaline bot, which could bypass everything. Also, the prices they asked for were really out of this world.
