Limit the ram Usage

Hello dont know if this is the section to post this, But how can i limit the max ram the server use, in the system requeriment say 5gb but i need to put at least 7gb of ram, lest than that and the server crash during the inicial run because ram maxout.

is there a way to limit the ram used? i try limiting the max user to 150 and still almot 7gb needed to run the server.

I categorically do not recommend installing less than 4 GB.

Let me add:
The size you set in this file determines how much RAM the Java process will occupy.
If you need to limit the number of users, you can do that using other methods.
This setting has no effect on the number of online users.

thanks i want to reduce the ram because is my test server for only 10 people or less, when i migrate to live will use at leas 8gb.

will try that option
