Good day,

Im new to all this, learning a bit, but wanted to make server online for my friends to test together.
Search few days for guides online, and none of them seem to work, so from reading all of them together managed to put server online.

Can I post my guide here? or is it against the rules to post how to upload server to play online? beacause I can't seem to find any guides.
 
All stages are absolutely identical except for the database and ORACLE Java 17 installation. If you use Linux, the internet is full of guides on how to install ORACLE Java 17 and MariaDB.

I managed to make it work.

Installed MariaDB;
Installed Java;
Copy files via FTP to server;
Changed Auth and Game servers IP to server IP;
Allow firewall ports 2106/7777;
Changed l2.ini file to server IP;

And voila - working :)

Using cheap server Contabo (not advertising, just sharing information)

No security added, no server stability issues known, but as for testins with few friends - works :)
 
Осторожно с контабо. Там обязательная отправка паспортных данных.
А то потом Будете как я ждать возврат :)
Ведь там сначала ты оплачиваешь, а потом они на почту тебе пишут, что нужно отправить документы. И морозят твои деньги.
 
As I said, i am not promoting the server, It's just what I used for personal testing purposes.
