Trial of Maestro - bug, cant progress quest

During Trial of Maestro - I have the quest item on me (Paint of Kamuru) and can interact with the corpse, but the NPC tells me I have not met the requirements.

If you receive an item outside of a quest, this won't work. The item must be obtained only through the quest, not by giving it out or buying it.

So you're doing something wrong with the quest. I checked, it works correctly.

Quest tracker pointed me to this NPC, also few guides tellin me

3.8 Orc Land (Cave of Trials) = Enter from West Cave, at the first bridge turn left (North) and follow the trail until you reach the jail. Shift-click Corpse of Kamur inside an open cell, and speak to it. Go through the fake wall in the cell, and eventually you will see Quest Monster Evil Eye Lord. Earn: Necklace of Kamuru.

1. Поговорите с Chief Croto (Крото) возле магазина с оружием в Dwarven Village (Деревня Гномов), получите
   
   Paint of Kamuru (Портрет Камуру).
2. Отправляйтесь в Cave of Trials (Пещеру Испытаний) (телепорт из Orc Village (Деревня Орков)), на мосту сверните налево и прямиком к камерам.
3. Поговорите с Jailer Dubabah (Дубабах).
4. Поговорите с Kamuru's Corpse (Труп Камура), пройдите через фальшивую стену, убейте Quest Monster Evil Eye Lord (Повелитель Око Зла) [37 lvl], получите
   
   Necklace of Kamuru (Ожерелье Камуру).

So, you just need to kill the evil_eye_lord, no need to talk to any corpse.

I can make it "talk" to the player and send them to kill the evil_eye_lord. But in the original, official quest, there is no stage in which it is necessary to interact with the corpse in any way.
